Everfresh Studio

Everfresh: Blackbook provides a rare and exclusive insight into the life and work of the Everfresh studio.

Opinion

‘Apart from its cultural significance, Blackbook is an art-book in its own right – an arresting showcase of some of Melbourne’s most inventive contemporary artists. Blackbook’s ultimate success, however, is in revealing the significant role that Everfresh has played in defining Melbourne’s current popular identity.’
--Brett Hamm, Broadsheet Melbourne, 23 September 2010

“Providing an exclusive insight into the artists behind some of Melbourne's most dynamic underground art work, this beautifully designed book is a must for anyone interested in the street art scene”

About this Title

The Everfresh studio is an explosive hub of creation and activity, inconspicuously located in Melbourne's inner-city suburb of Collingwood. Behind an unmarked factory door, Everfresh artists conceive, develop and collaborate to produce their now internationally renowned work for the streets, as well as fine art for exhibition in galleries and to feed the art market's growing appetite for street art.

Illustrated with striking, candid photography, Everfresh: Blackbook provides a rare and exclusive insight into the life of the studio, the artists behind the work and the culture of the elusive underground art world-a world usually cloaked in anonymity.
