About the Author

Holly Kerr Forsyth is a writer, photographer and passionate gardener. She has written about gardens for more than a decade and has been the Weekend Australian garden columnist for ten years. She has an Arts degree from the University of Queensland, is a graduate of Ryde Horticultural College, Sydney, and has a PhD in history from the University of New South Wales. Holly has written for a range of academic and mainstream publications and is the author of four books on gardening, including the best-selling Remembered Gardens: Eight women and their visions of an Australian landscape.

During the writing of this book she travelled throughout Australia, and across the globe, photographing the world's best gardens, analysing their key features, and interviewing their owners and creators.
