About the Author

Richard Evans is a Melbourne writer and historian. He has worked as a journalist on newspapers and legal magazines, and was a lecturer in journalism at RMIT University. He has a PhD in Australian history from Monash University, and is the author of The Pyjama Girl Mystery: A true story of murder obsession and lies. His work has appeared in HQ, Quadrant, The Age, Overland and The Republican, and been broadcast on ABC Radio National.

Alex West is an author and Executive Producer of Film Australia’s Making History Initiative. He has written, directed and produced numerous scientific, environmental and historical documentaries for a range of broadcasters including the BBC, National Geographic, Discovery Channel and the ABC.
