MUP Masterworks #3

Brenda Niall

The brilliant painter Arthur Boyd (1920-99) was a member of Australia’s most famous artistic dynasty.

Opinion

“Niall’s narrative focuses on a sequence of Boyd family houses in Australia and Europe - a strategy that enables her to shift seamlessly from one individual to another while charting the changes in the family fortunes. Illustrated with family photos and examples of the Boyds’ work, this is a truly Australian story, beautifully told.”
